It's not a dad bod, it's a father figure.

Just wanted to give you a heads up that Father's Day 2021 is less than ten days away.

And as I was scrolling the www in search of the perfect tokens of affection, I thought I'd share some of my fav finds here. Complete with links and free shipping when at all possible.

Hope this gives you a starting point:

  1. This VYBE Percussion Massage Gun is worth every penny. Whether he's really into fitness, sports, or just over the age of 35 and sleeping on the wrong pillow leads to walking out of alignment for three days ... this thing will be appreciated.

  2. All the guys in my family love these tactical backpacks. They come in a variety of sizes and colors with a gazillion pockets so you can use it as a daily go-bag (that's what Eli calls it) or my boys use them as overnight bags. He also can personalize it with velcro patches which is super fun.

  3. These Ring doorbells are worth all the hype. They connect to your phone and a neighborhood app letting you know if anything crazy is going on, and allow you to communicate through the device if anyone shows up at your house, and check the front door when the doorbell rings and you're wondering if it's the mailman or the boogeyman. If your guy is extra protective or techy, he'll love this too.

  4. A couple years ago we were in Hawaii and my company gifted these Olukai sandals to the attendees one night. I'd never heard of the brand at that time, but Eli RAVED about how comfortable they were. Now I see them all over town. I've given these as a gift several times and they're always a big hit.

  5. This stainless steel Solo Stove is totally worth the splurge. It's a portable fire pit that is almost completely smokeless. If your man is even the slightest bit outdoorsy, this is a great option!

  6. The shorts by Free Fly Apparel are Eli's all-time favorite shorts ... I bet he has 12 pairs. He goes to ballgames in them, works out in them, I'm pretty sure he even wears them as a swimsuit at the lake. They come in three different lengths, have a super breathable fabric and an elastic top. It's one of the few things in his closet we both agree on.

  7. Summer concerts and sporting events are BACK! #glorytoGodinthehighest Check local events to see if any of your fav bands are coming anywhere close, or if you're in Arkansas- helloooooo Razorback baseball! I love a fun experience to look forward to and this would definitely be a good one.

  8. Eli and I bought this Blackstone Griddle last year and took it to the lake. Our whole family LOVED it! It's fun for breakfast and makes super yum hibachi. It also made Eli LOVE to cook ... are you picking up what I'm laying down? I promise it's the gift that keeps on giving.

  9. Is there ever a time where sunglasses aren't a great gift? I think not. Rayban, Oakley, and Costa are the brands I keep coming back to for the guys in my fam. This can be a little bit of a tougher choice because unfortunately husbands tend to have their own personal style, but the wayfarer is a classic option if he's on the preppier side. Eli is not so I'll just live vicariously through you.

  10. Lastly, I love these Artic coolers. I think we have every Yeti cooler out there, and honestly the competing brands that are way less expensive hold ice JUST as well. And you know we test this out every weekend at the lake and ballparks of Central Arkansas. So I'm a reliable source.

I hope this list helps you breathe a sigh of relief and check a Father's Day gift or two off your to-do list. My love language has always been gifts and there's something extra special about a well thought out gift when someone says "I got you this because I know you love ____" or "I heard you say you liked that a couple months ago" or SOMETHING that shows you put thought into the gift-giving. I love that.

If you have a gift idea, I want to know about it! And if you buy one of these, I want to know that too!

Happy gift-giving to the men in your life! They're so very worth it!
